kellycrom
We are seeing quality problems when sending a single-file VPS directly to our Creo RIP driving our Xerox 6060. In a test I sent a composed PDF to our Creo and output the file. Then I composed a single-file VPS and sent that. I noticed that all of the text from the VPS file came out rastered, where on the PDF it did not. Is there something I am missing in my setup? Alex Marshall
Hello Kelly Certain applied effects cannot be translated in the PostScript language, which produced the issues you are encountering. You need to flatten the artwork and graphics in the template in the PDF. If you are designing the template, please ensure that the pdf preset is configured to flatten with emphasis on "No Downsampling". You may also use Adobe Acrobat's "PDF Optimizer", which is available from the "Advanced" menu option. Remember to modify the filename when prompted to save. rpaterick
Try sending a minimum of "6" records also. Not sure if this will fix it but I know that was an issue XMpie's VPS files.
