TomD
Does the sequential numbering rule require a data file with the required numbers as a field?? Or does the rule generate the numbers?? I have been able to produce a sequential number on a form in one position using a data file. But now in my attempt to set up a multi-position numbering job where the numbers have different starting and ending values, my first approach does not seem to work. I am using FusionPro Desktop v 6.1P1e Windows. A step by step procedure would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.
Alex Marshall
Does the sequential numbering rule require a data file with the required numbers as a field?? No. The logic will generate the numbers . If you need specific starting and ending numbers for each text frame, then you would need to build your data file with the field names and values, and insert to the appropriate text frames.
