MeadowsArt
I'm using Fusion Pro 5.8 with Acrobat 9. I know they are not entirely compatible. I'm wondering if my issue is a compatibility problem or if there is some kind of work around I can do. I'm having problems loading my fonts when I compose a piece. The fonts look right in the preview, but when I compose the document, I get this error message: "Error loading font Arial-BoldMT. Text may not be composed properly PDF Library Create Font Error: font Arial-BoldMT: The encoding (CMap) specified by a font is missing." It doesn't matter what font I use, I get the same message. I tried reloading the fonts several times, and that doesn't make a difference. This happened all of a sudden, and we didn't do anything differently. What do you all think? Thanks, Joe

mhilger
Hello Joe, As you mention, Acrobat 9 is not supported in FP Desktop 5.8 so this could be part of the issue. Version 6 of the Desktop product was built and tested specifically with Acrobat 9.
