jmitchell
We had a curious problem come up on a project. There was a variable image that is 0.75 x 1 inches where 0.625 inches of the bottom of the image printed no cyan (only MYK). We are printing to Postsript level 3 using an FP imposer template. We're using version 5.1P2b in OSX 10.4 on the Mac that created the files.
Alex Marshall
Try flattening the image. Whenever composing to the postscript output stream, it is imperative that the images used in the template be flattened, as they may contain layers, transparencies that will not translate nor render in the postscript stream. jmitchell
The image is a Photoshop *.tif with no layers. Other images (51 of them) in the same variable graphic box printed fine. Also, when the file was recomposed it was fine. It seems that it was a hiccup during that 1 composition. This is the second time that it has come up though on different jobs, but similar layout. The last time was about 5 months ago. I went ahead and attached a screen shot of a PDF distilled from the postscript file.
