Dan Korn Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Your question about "the point size" is not meaningful. Copyfitting does not necessarily result in one single ending point size. You can copyfit a flow which has text in multiple point sizes, and potentially all of the text will grow or shrink to fit the frames in the flow, based on the parameters of the MagnifyAttributes object in the OnCopyfit rule. For instance, you could have a header in 20 point text, followed by a paragraph of 10 point text, and those could end up as 18 and 9 point text after copyfitting. Also, copyfitting doesn't really specify any point sizes at all; it actually places a <magnify> tag (or a series of such tags) before the text in the flow. So, there isn't really any way to know what "the" ending point size is. Let's take a step back, and talk about what the end goal is. What are you really trying to accomplish? If the Name is too long it will copyfit so it doesn't get cut off or wrap to next line. The fields are vertical aligned top. So the customer would like the title vertically centered between the bottom of the Name and the top of the permanent line. So if the Name reduces size because of copyfit, the title has to move up a little to be centered.
