Todd_Ball
Is anyone using, or have any experience with running Mac emulator software on a Windows machine, especially for use with Printable?
Dan Korn
I've used, and actually developed, FusionPro Desktop and Server on Windows XP running under Parallels Desktop on Mac OS X. It seems to work fine. However, in practice, the performance of any application is never going to be as good under an OS emulation mode as it is when booted natively. So when I'm out of the office with my MacBook Pro and need to do development under Windows, I usually just use Remote Desktop to access my Windows machine(s) in the office. Todd_Ball
Thanks Dan, that's good to know. But, unless I misunderstood your answer, I'm hoping to go the other way... I want to use a Windows machine, but run Mac OS emulation software so I can do without the Mac machine altogether. Anyone done this?
Dan Korn
As far as I know, any version of Mac OS that runs on non-Mac hardware is neither licensed nor validated by Apple, and as such Printable cannot recommend using our products under such an environment.
