designerspressinc
It seems like a simple thing; I want to allow my end user to see the different choices for images in a graphic pick list rather than just choosing from the titles of the images. Is this possible?
Dan Korn
Sure, when you add an item to the pick list, you can type in a language-specific prompt, which can be whatever you want. http://forums.pti.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1632&stc=1&d=1487264197
designerspressinc
Thanks. That's what I'm already doing but it doesn't show the image, it only has the image name in the pick list. To be specific, I am hosting this document on Digital Storefront so maybe it's a limitation of that platform that's not showing an image/thumbnail for them to choose from? Well, I can't really make out much from the screenshot. But the Web Collect form definition is designed to show the text prompt that's entered, not a thumbnail for a graphic. At any rate, that's all that gets put into the XML file by FusionPro. It's up to the application (DSF in this case) that's showing the form to translate that XML into HTML to show a form to the end user. So if you want the form in DSF to display something differently, that would be a question for EFI.
