Hey all. I am new to Fusion Pro and I am alittle lost. I am sure this is a simple answered question.. ( atleast I hope so)

I have an InDesign document that was given to us with TIFF and EPS artwork. The only variable data will be the address block. I figured out how to do the steps and add the data block. But now when I compose, I do not see the background images, just the text block with all the addresses??? !!!??

Am I missing something simple?? Please help the noooobie!!

:confused::confused::confused::confused:

Exporting a PDF from InDesign without FusionPro first should set

these export settings you wish to use with FusionPro when you export.

You probably do not want the out-of-box settings to be used in high-

quality print. So, what I recommend is:

1) to File -> Export (this is the regular InDesign)

2) Hit Save.

3) **Change the Export Settings to your custom settings with options

recommended by your press vendor. If you do not know you can try

Press Settings

4) Delete the file just created

5) Go to the FusionPro Pallet

6) Hit the little arrow in the upper right hand corner

7) Export Document

This should use the same settings you used for the First PDF.

If using hi-res images, please ensure that they are flattened first before creating the pdf.

Hope this information helps.
