daniel
Is it possible to make a text field that will produce a 1pt stroked box sized to the width and height of the text wrapped around the text?
Dan Korn
Put the text into a cell in a table and set the cell borders. (Note: This question isn't really specific to the MarcomCentral app.)
daniel
Thanks, where do I do this? So as the text changes the size of the box will change? I asked the question here because I thought it might be a field solution.
Dan Korn
Thanks, where do I do this? You create a JavaScript rule in your FusionPro template which outputs a table. The Frodo Travel tutorial has a couple of examples. In your case, the table will have only one column and one row. So as the text changes the size of the box will change? Well, the size of the table cell (which in your case is the entire table) will change. The table is output in a text frame. The size of the text frame itself isn't really relevant, though; the frame is just kind of a placeholder for the table in this scenario. I asked the question here because I thought it might be a field solution. I don't think there's anything in MarcomCentral that can do this outside of the FusionPro template, if that's what you mean. It's a FusionPro thing.
