marketconnections
Hi all, Can someone explain the cause of the "MergeInAcroForm, , error: Expected a name object." error I sometimes get when composing and pulling pages from a PDF?
step
Well, I've never encountered that error myself but my hypothesis would be that the PDF you're pulling in has AcroForms Objects in it and that's causing an error when FusionPro is reading in the document. Dan Korn
Please send the PDF file, along with a small sample job which demonstrates the problem, to FusionProSupport@PTI.com.
marketconnections
Yup, that seems to be it. The PDF source file has some PDF forms pages that seem to be gumming up the works. Thanks!
marketconnections
Dan, if you still want the source material, it's pretty large in size, over 50MB. Let me know.

Dan Korn
Thanks Paul, we got the files. This appears to be an error message specific to new functionality in FusionPro 9.1. You might want to update the FusionPro version designation in your signature. You should be able to stop the messages by going to the Graphics tab of the Composition Settings dialog and unchecking the "Preserve Annotations" box.
