Mike Duschak Posted January 13, 2009 Posted January 13, 2009 PC Windows XP 5.1 Service Pack 3 FusionPro Desktop 5.8P1g Acrobat 8.1.3 InDesign CS3 5.0.4 Every time I close Acrobat after using FusionPro I get this error: The instruction at "0x0300d2z1" referenced memory at "0x0300d2a1". The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program. I get this error on 2 different computers at my company. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
wheels Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I recieve a similar message but different "location" with my acrobat. I googled the error and found many people with the errors and the suggested solutions required uninstall and reinstall and a variety of gyrations that didn't always work and didn't look appealing to me. I am just living with the error. I am also working with Acrobat 8.
Mike Duschak Posted January 14, 2009 Author Posted January 14, 2009 Thanks for the info Wheels. I've been living with it too. I don't think it affects any of my output but don't quote me on that one.
Alex Marshall Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Hello, We do not beleive this is a FusionPro, as we have no reported cases in reference to this error. I would suggest that you update your version of FusionPro to 5.8p1m which can be downloaded at : http://www.printable.com/downloads/fusionpro Uninstall FusionPro first. When this process completes, delete the directory named "Printable" located in the "Program Files" directory of your PC hard drive. Remove this folder from your recycle bin before proceeding with the reinstallation. Let us know if this helps.
Mike Duschak Posted January 20, 2009 Author Posted January 20, 2009 That did the trick. All is OK. Thanks Alex!
Mike Duschak Posted January 21, 2009 Author Posted January 21, 2009 ....after further review....no go. Still getting the error. Everything works fine, I just get an error when closing acrobat only after using FusionPro. Perhaps updating to CS4 and FP 6 will do the trick.
