Talco Posted July 26, 2012 Share Posted July 26, 2012 My normal letter set up is to bring to export my PDF from InDesign with just my salutation field set to be variable. the body copy of the letter is static. What I notice is the font (same font as the letter body copy) often appears to be slightly bolder on the salutation. Its almost as if it is spreading just slightly. It seems worse on typefaces that have thin serifs, which makes sense. Has anyone else run into this issue, and could you help me resolve please? Dan Korn Posted July 26, 2012 Share Posted July 26, 2012 FusionPro cannot exactly match the typesetters of other text composition engines, including Adobe InDesign. Go back to InDesign and mark all the other text frames for export as variable text to FusionPro, re-export, and then all the text should appear the same when you compose.
