tommrz Posted February 10, 2012 Share Posted February 10, 2012 I am evaluating FP as a posible solution for VDP for a company that has no solution as of now. I have experience using SmartStream from HP. After running through the quick start guide for FP it appears that each variable graphic I plan to use has to first be added as a resource and then have a if/then type rule applied for each one. Is there not a way to designate a graphic frame to pull in the image based on the value of a field in a record? If each record I have in a given database has the complete image name in a field can swap out the images based on that data without having to have a rule for each image?
