Kal
Hi, has anyone printed cheques using the MICR font. When I bring in the job from InDesign to FusionPro the drops the special four symbols, the Transit Num Symbol, On-Us Symbol, Amount Symbol, & the Dash Symbol. Everything looks fine in the InDesign file. Does anyone have any idea on how to fix this issue?
rpaterick
The only thing our shop would try is to convert that font to a different style. .ps, .otf. and .ttf. Between mac and pc, sometimes a different style works better than others. http://www.fontlab.com/font-converter/transtype/ For the price, it's totally worth having. If this didn't work, not sure what would be the solution.
Kal
Thanks, it was a font issue Mac vs PC. Mac was using Type1 and FusionPro didn't read all the symbols from the Type1 font, but installing the OTF version did the trick and FusionPro now has all the symbols. Thanks :-)
