randy.willeyefi.com
I am running Acrobat 9.2 under Windows 7 32-bit and have installed FusionPro 7.1P1c after uninstalling version 7.2 (I discovered version 7.2 is not supported internally to my company). I have attempted to uninstall and reinstall a number of times with reboots, but every time I attempt to work on a FusionPro template Acrobat crashes. I saw a previous post from a user that stated they were able to correct a similar problem by cleaning out FusionPro dlls from the System32 directory after uninstalling FusionPro and then reinstalling, but the post did not state what the dlls to manually delete were. Can anyone assist? Thanks.
Alex Marshall
Sorry you are having trouble. If FusionPro is still installed, do the following. Click "Start>>Run" Then Type this at the command prompt: C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\msiexec.exe /x {52DD1B95-E6BD-4E4D-AA07-C400205E3A4E} Follow the prompts to uninstall FusionPro. When completed, delete the "Printable" folder from the "Program Files" directory and empty from the Recycle Bin. Restart the computer. Reinstall FusionPro to see if this helps. randy.willeyefi.com
I followed the suggested steps which completed successfully. After reinstalling FusionPro I still get the same error.
