Kal Posted August 4, 2011 Share Posted August 4, 2011 When I use Imposition to 2up a job and then choose the "Output to multiple files" option to break the records every 10,000 I get one big file of 125,000 which is the total run. Alex Marshall Posted August 4, 2011 Share Posted August 4, 2011 It sounds like you have "Infinite Stack" specified in the Imposition Definition. If the stack batch output fits evenly into or is the same size as the chunk, then the chunk size is honored. When there is a conflict between the stack size and the chunk size, multiple output files are produced using the stack batch (SxVxH) output size. This is also the case when the stack output size is greater than the chunk size. When Infinite Stack is used, a conflict is reported and one output file is generated.
