sschardan Posted June 15, 2011 Share Posted June 15, 2011 Has there ever been a resolution to being able to output to variable sized chunks? I have a job that is using the repeat record function. Each record is repeating with variable quantities. It is also creating a new file for each record based on a data field. Then I realized that by doing this, the old problem of not being able to output to variable length segments was throwing a wrench in my plans. Each repeated record is actually overwriting the previous repeat. DOH! Didn't think that one out too well. If there hasn't been a resolution yet, I can just print it all as one file.
