CCS_Printing
Since I have upgraded to 7.2 my Acrobat keeps crashing when I try to export from InDesign, are there any issues with this? Or is there a way to resolve this? I am using Vista OS, Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and InDesign CS5 Thanks for your help!
Alex Marshall
Hello, Did you uninstall FusionPro completely before upgrading to 7.2? Try the following. On the PC, uninstall FusionPro from the “Control Panel, using “Add/ Remove Programs” option. When complete, delete the “Printable” folder from the “Program Files” directory of the hard drive. Remove from the Recycle Bin. Check with your help desk team before performing this operation. Disable UAC on Windows Vista Open up Control Panel, and type in “UAC” into the search box. You’ll see a link for “Turn User Account Control (UAC) on or off”: On the next screen you should uncheck the box for “Use User Account Control (UAC)”, and then click on the OK button. Slide the bar to "Never Notify". You’ll need to reboot your computer before the changes take effect. Once the system is restarted, install FusionPro 7.2. Let us know if this helps. CCS_Printing
Hi Alex, I did uninstall the old version before upgrading. I just did the add/remove programs part though. Should I try an uninstall and reinstall of 7.2 following these steps now? I just tried searching for UAC and nothing comes up. Thanks so much for getting back to me! Alex Marshall
Did you do this in the Control Panel after opeing "User Accounts"?
CCS_Printing
Ok found it...the box was already unchecked. Not sure what you mean by sliding the bar to never notify?
