esmith
My current project requires a variable number of pages in which the fronts are unique and the backs contain common static elements. I had hoped to use the overflow page setup to count the number of pages in a PDF resource, use overflow pages to place each resource page on a new page with additional variables added separately, and then output overflow pages in pairs with the second page containing the static text. Unfortunately that is not how overflow pages seem to work in FusionPro. Is there a way to output a job with varying page counts per record, where the front changes on each page but the back remains the same throughout? At this point I'm thinking I may need to scrap the overflow logic and instead create several identical pages and turn them on/off in a callback rule based on page count of resource PDF. Dan Korn
Overflow pages can have static backgrounds, just like body pages, and that background should appear in the output. If it's not working the way you expect, please post the job here or send it to Support.
