sschardan Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Just curious as to when, if ever, FusionPro Desktop will be released as Intel Mac 64-bit native? Thanks
Dan Korn Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 That's up to Adobe. FusionPro Desktop is a plug-in to Adobe Acrobat, so it has to have the same architecture as Acrobat itself. So the answer is that, whenever Adobe releases a 64-bit version of Acrobat, we can (actually we will have to) release a 64-bit plug-in. So far, however, Acrobat remains a 32-bit app, so FP Desktop remains 32-bit as well. However, as a 32-bit app, Acrobat works just fine on 64-bit operating systems, as does the FusionPro plug-in.
