acaprice
We have a new iMac, 3.06 ghz with 4gb of ram with Acrobat Professional 8.13. We have had trouble running Fusion Pro Desktop 6.1 and now 7.0. For some reason every time you open one of our Fusion Pro templates, the text and graphic areas on the template load seperately and they cause the rainbow beach ball to pop up and you have to wait. If you interact in anyway with the template or select an option from the Fusion pro menu, like Palettes/Preview, it has to reload all the fusion pro items on the page again with the beach ball spinning. This can take about 5- 10 for each Fusion Pro text or graphic box to load every time you make any change. We have another G5 dual processor machine with the same versions of both Fusion Pro and Acrobat on it and all the templates work fine. This is what we have done so far: We installed 7.0 but no change from 6.1 We uninstalled Acrobat and Fusion pro, reinstalled them today and no change. Tried a new template from scratch, no change. Any help would be appreciated.
Dan Korn
This sounds like an installation or configuration issue, which is extremely difficult to diagnose here on the forum. Please contact Support.
