PC fonts on a Mac

I have activated fonts in my FontBook and they show up in InDesign, but after loading fonts in FP the refuse to show up. I know some of these fonts are PC TTF. Is this a problem for FP?

What does the fonts.err file say about the fonts in question?

Hi

I seem to be having similar font issues. It started when I upgraded my FP to 5.1P2c on my MAC on InDesign CS2. Everytime I compose a job this message comes up now:

 

"Font assets file is not found. Only system fonts will be used for this job"

 

Here is the Font.err message:

 

Warning: Font instance does not match for font Times. font: 8635,8217 style: 0,0 . Must be a duplicate. Skipped font.

 

This warning is used for all of the fonts in my system and my suitcase.

My work-a-round is I have to change the font from my Default of Helvetica to the actual font being used. FP does see the fonts, but it does not load them on my page during export.
