NPN
When editing the flat data file some of the text contains a '%'. As soon as I save and refresh the preview, the '%' doesn't show and it has disappeared from the flat file. And yes, I'm sure the font I'm using supports '%'. What gives? Dan Korn
Can you post your job, or a minimal sample which reproduces the problem?
jleger
I have always noticed this, too, and it seems to occur only if you use the field editor in FP. To get around this issue I manually edit the data file in notepad if there are special characters. -Joe
Dan Korn
Okay, I see what the problem is now. This is indeed a bug. I've created case FP-11444 for this issue, and it will be fixed in the next upcoming release (probably 7.0P1e), which hopefully will be out soon. Sorry for the inconvenience. As a workaround, you can enter two percent signs for each one you want to appear in the data file. Or edit the file in a text editor.
