ksulliv1 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Hi, when I was watching the tutorial videos on the support site, one of them pertaining to creating rules made it sound like there was a repository of various created rules by Printable or users, that was going to be added to periodically and we could go to and download them and add them to our library somehow. Does anybody know anthing about this?
esmith Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I've not seen anything like that, although the forum users are pretty good about offering solutions to your questions if you post them here (assuming a simple search doesn't find the question already answered).
Brian F. Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Its a good idea to create your own library too. That way you have the ones YOU use and don't have to go searching all the time. I keep a .txt file with the rules I commonly use. That way I just cut and paste into the rule field whichever one I need.
LesSjo Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 When I have a rule that I use continuously, I add it to the rules template. That way it is always available at the click of a button. For "how to's" look in the Rules Guide starting on page 60.
Brian F. Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 That sounds way better than my method! Where does one find the "Rules Guide"? All I have is the 2 basic training books.
LesSjo Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 open Acrobat, go to the Fusion Pro menu. The Rules guide should be listed under documentation.
Brian F. Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 I had no idea this was there. Looks like I have some reading to do. Thanks for pointing me to it.
