I'm at my wits end with this problem. Has anyone had any luck with Subset Finishing options for a Kodak Digimaster? I have tried everything suggested here... loading the Kodak PPD in the page usage Finish settings, and also inserting postscript commands under Advanced / Page Media using the Digimastermedia files that were installed with FusionPro. No matter what i do, when i walk over to the press, it just shows plain wht paper. The job I am working on needs to pull from 2 different trays depending on the data. Each record will be unique on which paper tray to pull from. Thanks!

Looking for some help on how i should approach a business card with different variable alignments and a inline graphic. I have 3 variable fields that will vary in length depending on the data. Field 1 has variable and will need to be aligned left. Field 2 has a inline graphic and variable and will need to be centered between fields 1 and 3. Field 3 has variable and will need to be aligned right. Would this be done using Tables and TextMeasure? Thanks! Sample.pdf

I noticed today that my Connect Text Frames button is not working anymore. I can get the Unlink button to highlight but not the Link button. Any ideas? Don't really want to uninstall and install again. Acrobat Ver #11.0.06 Mac OS 10.10.5 FusionPro Ver #10.0.3

Couldn't you just manually Impose the 16 page file in Indesign or any other software as a saddle stitched book, on a 13x 19 sheet with crop marks. Then export that as a PDF which you will use to build your variables in FusionPro. Then compose the job as a PPML. I'm sure there are better ways, but this should work for you.

Thanks Leo! I will give that a shot. Out of curiosity though I'm still baffled why the line breaks are different then the one I created from a separate barcode application (Screenshot). Also the widths of your barcodes vary but they are all using 11 digit data.

Here is a screenshot of what I am trying to duplicate. It was generated in another barcode application and I am trying to match it using FusionPro. FusionPro may have generated a 128 Subset A barcode but I needed it to look like the one attached. Same width and height. The data for this was... S18250342405 Sorry for the confusion!

Could anyone offer any advice on creating this kind of barcode in FusionPro? The two 128 barcode rules I see in FusionPro are not generating a Subset A barcode. Thanks!

You need to click on "Treat returned strings as tagged text" in your text rule.

I may be wrong, but I think your issue is that you applied a rotation to your pages in acrobat which is affecting the trim box dimensions.

This is probably not the solution, but I noticed this happen before when I had Acrobats Print Production/Output Preview window open. If it is open and clicked on separations, your FusionPro preview will not work.

Need some help! I was able to get the sample file to work, but I'm having issues applying this with data and graphics (multipage pdf's) with names other then Doc1 or images named Doc.pdf. I have data that has one field called "Graphic". And each record under that field has the names of the Multipage PDFs to be inserted, for example "apple.pdf", "grapes.pdf" ect... These PDF graphics range from 1 to 4 pages. Could someone help me tweak the sample rule to make this work?

Step, that inserted the words "<color name=\"White\">blank</color>" in my text frame.

Yes, I am trying to change values before using them on my template. I don't want to edit my data file. I was thinking that a Onjobstart rule would work for this situation.

Is there a way for FusionPro to search through multiple fields (over 100 fields) and do a text replacement? Example: Find the word "blank" and replace with a space instead.
