Default Expression Installation Problem

Our license for FusionPro states that the "serial number can be used to install both products on the same device." FusionPro loaded correctly and works fine. However, when we enter the serial number to register Expressions, or even copy and paste from the FP license activation, it states "The serial number is invalid. Please try again." We emailed support a month ago and still have no answer. Anybody have any thoughts?
