Transparency question

I read that in FusionPro 6 we now have the ability to set a box color.

 

I have a variable graphic box in FusionPro.

 

I want a colored stripe (about 0.5 inches high) running horizontally across the top of the graphic.

 

I want to give the user the ability to change the color of that stripe - Black, White, Orange, Green, etc.

 

I haven't tried this yet but I am assming it's fairly straightforward to do using JavaScript. (Similar to how I would control the color of text, right?)

 

Question ... can I also apply TRANSPARENCY to that colored stripe? In other words, I want the user to select 'Orange' but I want the stripe to be at 50% opacity, so you can see through it, to the picture below.

 

Is this possible?
