Proof for Variable Products?

Hi All,

 

Do you know of a way to be able to pull a non-imposed "proof" with data in position from the Dashboard for variable products similar to the way you can for versioned products? The Dashboard doesn't seem to give me the option to do so...

Hi Lisa,

 

We don't compose a 1-up proof for VDP products like we do for Versioned. However, if you need the versioned data composed, you can do this offline.

 

Here is what you will do:

 

1) Create your Job Ticket with a "mapped data" output file type, check the box for "offline composition"

2) Then you can take the data (this has the versioned and VDP data in a delimited file format) and compose this offline using FP Desktop (if you select "offline composition" then we will have a zip file with the images for the template in the Dashboard
