Dan Korn
If you're running FusionPro 10, please contact Support and they can provide a patch installer that will install the FusionPro VDP plug-in for Acrobat DC 2017, as well as for InDesign CC 2017. fadel
hi, support is telling me the only way to make fp 9.3 work with Acrobat Pro DC is to upgrade to v10. Not true? A patch to 9.3 would work? Is the patch free? Thanks, Fadel
Dan Korn
hi, support is telling me the only way to make fp 9.3 work with Acrobat Pro DC is to upgrade to v10. Not true? Yes, this is true. If you're running FusionPro 9.3, then yes, you need to upgrade to FusionPro 10 so that the installer can install a plug-in for Acrobat DC 2017. fadel
Thanks Dan, Well, I did purchase the upgrade, and it still will not show the plugin. Left a message to support. Furthermore, during the installation, AVG reported that the installer had a "trojan-horse" virus!!!
Dan Korn
Thanks Dan, Well, I did purchase the upgrade, and it still will not show the plugin. Left a message to support. You still need a patch installer, even with FusionPro 10, at least until we publicly release our latest build. Furthermore, during the installation, AVG reported that the installer had a "trojan-horse" virus!!! Not sure what that's about. It could be mistakenly flagging one of our executables. Is there any technical information with the report? Also, what version of the installer are you running?
fadel
I have attached the AVG Report. I hope it is readable.
Dan Korn
I have attached the AVG Report. I hope it is readable. I don't see anything in there indicating that the report is at all related to FusionPro.
Dan Korn
You still need a patch installer, even with FusionPro 10, at least until we publicly release our latest build. FYI, FusionPro VDP 10.0.16 is now available from the FusionPro Downloads page. This will install plug-ins for Acrobat DC 2017 and InDesign CC 2017, on both Windows and Mac.
