Printing Partners
Can I use sub domains for Custom URLs? If I purchase "mystorefront.com", is it possible to assign Custom URLs to customers as subdomains "client1.mystorefront.com", "client2.mystorefront.com", etc? jwhittaker
We do it with GoDaddy and masking.
Printing Partners
Pardon my questions, but how? GoDaddy would manage the DNS entry, but you still need an IP address to point to for the sub-domain. How are you getting IP addresses for individual storefronts? What are you using for masking? I tried an iFrame and got an error on the MarcomCentral page when it loaded. I even went old-school and tried a frameset, same error.
jwhittaker
I don't know that much about it. I was showed what to do when I create a new store. In Godaddy I click on manage the Domain Then I go to Forwarding and click on manage subdomains I add a subdomain with whatever you want the new url to be. Making sure redirect type is permanent and forward with masking being turned on.

Printing Partners
From reading about masking, I did get the impression that with SSL it can be an issue. So yes, for a retail store, I would purchase a domain and do a Custom URL.
