Move user into a specific user group based on profile information

Is there a way in MarcomCentral to automatically move a user into a specific user group based on information they enter into their profile during self registration. We would want to set the criteria for which group a user should be placed into, rather than allow the user to select their own group.

Under Self Reg Prefs set Show User Group Selection to Yes and select the groups you want available. This way you can limit what they see instead of allowing all groups. The only other way to do this would be to write a javascript that runs on the registration page and changes the selection in the background. Edited October 15, 2012 by ThomasLewis
