Problems with a variable in cut & stack

For the record, not sure if this is exactly an imposition issue, due to the fact it might be more of a design problem. It was created using Corel Draw, and everything else I have done has been ran with illustrator...no problems.

 

What I am experiencing is when after I compose a job, it seems the art work gets shifted to the top, left corner of the PDF, leaving white space around the right/bottom edges.

 

I've even tried shifting it and everything, yet it still seems to print out funky.

 

Could someone give me their insight as to what might be happening?
