aaroncorson
Does anyone have a list of custom command codes for the Digimaster other than the ones that are included with the software. Specifically I am looking for a command that will tell the machine to jog (offset) at certain points in the file. I only have the staple finisher, not the stacker, which I have been told is part of the problem, since the stacker would allow me to do this without a command. Example: I created a 4 page document and output the first 10 records to a Digimaster PS file and I would like the finisher to offset every 4 page set, but instead it prints the entire 40 page file as one set. Other suggestions on how to do this are appreciated as well. Thanks in advance!
aaroncorson
Working with Konica, we have come up with a solution to the problem. Hopefully this will help someone else so they don't have to go thru everything I did. The correct command code for the Digimaster is.. %KDKPeSubset: # # # # with the # sign representing the first page of each new set. In the example in my OP we would us the following command code %KDKPeSubset: 5 9 13 17 21 25 29 33 37 Then set the print driver to offset stack and it works like a charm. You can also use the same command to subset staple.
sdavenport
Ocassionally we have need of embedding stapling commands. Currently we do this through Smart Board but would love to embed it right into the postscript. What is the command to subset STAPLE?
