havdp Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 We have recently upgraded to FusionPro Desktop v7.1P1c on our CS4 workstation. We have an InDesign CS4 file but the Mac that has CS4 has FusionPro 6. We export using the FusionPro 6 plugin in InDesign, then open the PDF in Acrobat Pro 9.4 with FusionPro 7.1 to do QR codes. When we make changes to the file and attempt to save, we get a message that the file is open and the changes cannot be saved. We have to save to a new file each time a change is made.
esmith Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Is it me, or do these two statements conflict? We have recently upgraded to FusionPro Desktop v7.1P1c on our CS4 workstation. [T]he Mac that has CS4 has FusionPro 6. I would install FP7 on the same machine as the one running CS4. Alternatively you could possibly copy the newer plugin from one machine to the other although this might break files that you wanted to work on with FP6.
havdp Posted November 17, 2010 Author Posted November 17, 2010 I guess it is contradictory on the surface. We only upgraded one of our licenses until we determined it was worth the cost. I guess I'll request an upgrade for the other license as well.
