graphikal
All of a sudden we can't position text boxes properly. We create the box, but it jumps upward diagonally, say about 1/4" or so. When we move it back into place, it doesn't move smoothly with any precision, but rather lurches in larger, staggered increments and won't stay in place where we put it. It's almost as if something in some sort of preferences setting, such as measurement units, scrolling, locking, etc. has changed, or even in Acrobat itself, but we did not change anything. It is not just this file either, and we've rebooted the system with no change. Has anybody ever encountered anything like this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. We have bottle-necked production and it's costing us. Thanks in advance!
esmith
Could you upload a template exhibiting this problem to test on our end? The only time I've ever seen a frame "jump" is when I attempt to edit the crop boxes in Acrobat.
JeffMeloni
I am having this exact same problem now. It just showed up. What was the solution to the problem? Meloni
JeffMeloni
I just figured it out. The Snap to grid is turned on under view: snap to grid. Turn it off and all will work.
