Steve Blatman
A customer used one of the new Microsoft fonts (Cambria) in his document, and I need to use the same font for the variable information added in FP. Unfortunately, FP sees the italic, bold, and bold italic forms, which are ttf files, but not the roman, which is a ttc file. Any advice would be welcome--tools to extract ttfs from a ttc, workarounds to see the ttc font, or whatever. I'm using Acrobat 7 Pro on a Windows XP Pro system. esmith
the TTC format is just a wrapper for the TTF -- since you have the actual font, you can download the "unwrapped" version HERE (cambria.ttf) for free.
Steve Blatman
Never mind. Updating to 5.8 fixed the problem--FP now sees the fonts in the TTC file.
