Data Matrix Code issues

Hi guys, I am having a heck of a time figuring this out. I cannot produce a 2D DataMatrix Code. I am on a Imac vers. 10.9.5 running 9.3.36.
Anyway, I am told it is a Java error? Anybody have any thoughts?

I am getting this error.
