template is 8.5x11, fpi is 11x17. I don't see telescoped stacks as an option. I'm using FP 8.1.2 on mac OSX 10.6.8

I have a job that is 8.5x11 (single side sheets) using a template that is 11x17 2-up. My challenge is to infinite stack the records but also break the files out to 500 sheet batches so 2000 records are imposed 1-1000 on left side of 11x17 sheet and records 1001-2000 are on right side but first group of 500 sheets is 1-500 left and 1001-1500 right. has anyone done this, if so please share. Thanks Rick
