name multiple pdf output files using a field

I am looking to output multiple pdf files and name them using a field in my data.

Please help with the code.

This has been answered in other places on the forum. The code I use looks like this:

if (FieldChanged("Field"))
   FusionPro.Composition.OpenNewOutputFile(Field("Field") + "." + FusionPro.Composition.outputFormatExtension);

Just place this in the OnRecordStart Rule when creating a new rule. However, this only works on FusionPro 9. To my knowledge, older versions cannot create arbitrary chunks. What version are you using?

You can try this in the OnNewOutputFile Callback Rule:

FusionPro.Composition.outputFileName = Field("[color="DarkRed"]YourFieldName[/color]") + '[color="DarkRed"].pdf[/color]';

Edit the field name and extension (in red) accordingly.
