KayEll
My drop shadow on the colored background is not outputting as previewed. The preview in my template is nice and dark but when I look at the output, it is grey. I am using that trick where you have black text with a drop shadow directly beneath some yellow type, as the yellow was not producing a good black shadow. I have tried all different settings for opacity and spread, and different dpi on the output. Can anyone tell me how to get something closer to my preview? http://forums.printable.com/picture.php?albumid=8&pictureid=27 http://forums.printable.com/picture.php?albumid=8&pictureid=28 Thanks, K
Dan Korn
What output format are you using? And what setting do you have under "Drop Shadow Effect" on the Graphics tab of the Composition Settings dialog?

KayEll
OK, I talked to Alex in support and he helped me with this. I didn't know that the opacity level could go higher than 100%. It actually goes up to 500%. Setting it at that gets me much closer to the effect I need. Thanks Alex for your help! K
