[Features of the Hot Folders]

Hi,

 

With the newest version of your software can you apply a CSV variable data file to a PDF file and have it apply a pre-made template and then apply a Imposition to it when using your ProHot folders? Basically create a Hot folder that can do these multiple steps. If so what version of Fusion Pro do I need?

I'm currently running FP 8.2.7. Do you know if version FP 10.0 is faster at running impositions. I do 4" x 6" postcards 9 out and if there are a lot of addresses its not to fast.

I use the "Intelligent Barcode" rule with the same field "imbdigits" generated out of Accuzip on just about every job. Is there a way to auto apply this rule or not even use a rule but something else that can apply the barcode to the already created text field that is on every job. Any help would be appreciated.

[Creating Multiple PDF Files When Zip Code Changes]

Hi,

 

I've been trying to print 9 out 4" x 6" postcards on a 12x18 with no bleeds and static info on the front and all changing info only on the back side. I'm using FusionPro 8.27 on a PC. I would like to be able to break into separate PDFs based on zip code change. I have tried a couple of different scripts that I've seen here but none have worked. I don't know if I am doing it in the wrong order or if the stacking in the imposition software must be set a certain way. I would appreciate any help.
