[Postscript processing time –]

We are using FusionPro VDP Creator 8.2.7 to build a template with tray selection data defined in it.

FP Support has confirmed for us that the only way to retain the tray selection data is to output Postscript format.

 

This results in very long processing time when generating output from FP. Does anyone have suggestions to speed up the output?

 

We are sending the ps to a Fiery 200 rip on a Canon ImagePress 1135, but the issue is generating the output from FP, not rip time.

[Print page depending on even or odd pages]

Hi Lisa,

 

I am trying to something very similar. I have 19 pages all set to unused in my template. The user selection in form filling will determine which pages will print and which will not.

 

I have two headers (graphic) for each page that I want to switch depending on if the current page is odd or even. Seems like your code should work for this.

But I’m confused by this line of code

 

“if (Field(i+1) != "") {”

 

What is field? Is that an actual field in your DB?

 

I’d appreciate any help you can give!

[Move user into a specific user group based on profile information]

Is there a way in MarcomCentral to automatically move a user into a specific user group based on information they enter into their profile during self registration. We would want to set the criteria for which group a user should be placed into, rather than allow the user to select their own group.

You can do this with locations. You can identify a specific user for each location you create.
