  1. I have a field that read AT&T both when it previews and is composed we only get AT.

We were using the "Force Upper" XML Rule built into Fusion

    Steps tried

On CSV Import, selecting "Treat Field Values as Tagged Text"

Converted the rule to Java with "Treat Returned Strings as tagged text" box checked. It validates correctly but, the preview in incorrect.

  2. We do a weekly job that is a saddle stitch book. The books is printed on two different color papers. How many pages are on each color and the page count varies each week.

The only variable element is the address box on the front cover.

Previously this was printed out of Printshop Mail. All pagination was done in the driver & finished inline pulling from two drawers. The printer is a an older B&W Machine a Konica 1051.

I tried outputting as a postscript stream from Fusion. I had the Konica print driver defaults set to the correct settings for this job. When the file arrived at the printer, it printed with none of the settings applied.

How can we configure the fusion output correctly. The manual says to use a PPD and I haven't found one for the Konica 1051.

    Fusion Pro Creator 10.1.9

    Acrobat DC

    Windows 7 Professional 64bit

  3. Most of our work is post cards & given to us a High Res PDF's. We have a a pretty simple work flow.

We Import the Def file from a previous job.

Copy the VI boxes from a previous job

    import the new spread sheet.

The only sticking point is we have to copy each box separately. I can't for the life of me figure out how to select more than one box and grab it.

It's not bad on a post card but, we have a ticket job with 30 VI elements on the page. Previously we did this using PrintShop Mail.

    Thanks

    Ray
