jnewtonchameleon-cs.com
I need to output multiple pdf files (1 per record) using a variable field to name each output file. ie. variable field "CustomerID = 2233, 2311, 5547" File output names = 2233.pdf, 2311.pdf, 5547.pdf Is there a rule to make this work. Thanks,
Dan Korn
On the Output tab of the Composition Settings dialog, check the "Output to multiple files" box and set the "Number of records per file" count to 1. (Also UNcheck the "Different number of records in first file" box.) Then, from the Rules dialog, click "New", then click "Callback" and select "OnNewOutputFile" and click "Next." Paste this code into the Rule Editor for the OnNewOutputFile callback: FusionPro.Composition.outputFileName = Field("CustomerID")+".pdf";

umakadar
Can this be acheived using the fusionpro.exe command line? fusionpro.exe <instance file> <format (the .dif) file> <config file> <output file> where <output file> is variable based on the rule.
