Can't rotate variable text frame in FusionPro

LeberMac

Recommended Posts

I have a variable text frame. I'd like to rotate it 90 degrees.

Clicking the rotation increment arrows in the textframe box - doesn't work.

Entering a value in the rotation box, then clicking out of the box or hitting Return/Enter - doesn't work.

Swearing at FusionPro - doesn't work, but I feel slightly better.

Frustrating. This should be simple.

Using FusionPro Desktop 5.8P2c, Acrobat Pro 8.1.3, Mac OS X 10.5.5

Alexander,

That is currently a bug with the 5.8 software. If you don't require

Unicode Font support at this time you could uninstall and load version

5.1p2c.

Subject: can't rotate a text frame

On MacOS X when I select a text frame I am unable to rotate it by typing

a value into the angle field. I tried to do this with more than one

template - same problem.

Wait, so there's a bug in 5.8 that doesn't allow you to rotate ANY boxes?

When will this be fixed?

I can't install version 6, my serial # is only good for version 5.

Will there be a fix so that FusionPro 5.8 will work properly?

P.S. There is no way to rotate the boxes that I can see in FusionPro 5.8 - entering a rotation value then tabbing, entering a rotation value then clicking another field, entering a rotation value then hitting Enter, using the increment arrow buttons - nothing allows you to enter a value.

Nope. I don't think there is a resolution. I don't think there WILL be one, either; I think the official fix is to ask you to upgrade to version 6.0 or to downgrade you to version 5.1.

I wasn't ready to shell out for the upgrade yet, so I downgraded to 5.1. I have not noticed any real differences. Apparently the only change from 5.1 to 5.8 was Unicode font support. (?)

Either way, you can download the other versions here.

Hello,

If you still have FusionPro installed, you can find your serial number by running the "Prodactivate" program that installs in the FusionPro installation folder.

Otherwise, you can contact our support team and they will be able to assist you.
