Default Tracking and Superscript.

I'm finding that changing the <tracking> of text has no effect when the characters in question are within <superscript> tags.
I'm using <tracking> in conjunction with <p>.

It probably depends on the font. Most fonts are designed to work optimally at normal tracking. You might want to try turning off kerning for the paragraph in question. How much tracking are you applying?
Did you check the box for "Treat Return Strings As Tagged Text" in the Rule you created?

I've unchecked Kearning, no effect.
Utilizing a minimal amount of tracking, just enough to try to tighten up some extra spacing.
The sample below I raised the tracking a lot to see what was moving and what was not. The tracking id being applied to the areas outside the <superscript>tags, but not those within
Am using 'tagged text' all my other tags are working.

<tracking newsize="100"><f name="Univers Condensed"><p override="true" br="false"superoffset="110"><superscript><z newsize="48">$</superscript></f><f name="Univers Condensed"><B><z newsize="122">2<p override="true" br="false"superoffset="50"><superscript><z newsize="72">49</superscript></f></B>
