3 and 9 barcode

Hello. I am trying to print a 3 and 9 barcode on a mailing card and I am super confused on how to accomplish it.

I have a 3 and 9 font loaded that I am being told to use. I see when I create rules there is a 3 and 9 barcode wizard. I am selecting the field where supposedly the bar is created from, select my 3/9 font...and nothing.

This is the first time trying to create this barcode and I don't know if it is something wrong with what I am doing or is it that the data I am using is not correct to produce the barcode. I am kinda of leaning to the data seeing that the wizard is pretty straight forward.

I don't know, like I said, I am super confused and need some help, badly!!

What do you mean by nothing? Are you placing the variable for the rule you created into a text frame? Or are you simply setting down the field and selecting a font? Is there any kind of related warning or message in the composition log (.msg) file? (You'll need to do a Compose rather than just a Preview and click View Log.)

Posting the template would be worth a thousand words. Or, at the very least, the data file.
