Default Desktop and Direct upgrades

We are currently running FusionPro Desktop version 5.1P2c (Mac) and FusionPro Direct version 5.8P1m (pc). We would like to upgrade the Desktop versions to 6, but if we do that will we also need to upgrade the Direct version to 6? If so, what is the cost of the Direct upgrade?

Default Re: Desktop and Direct upgrades

Hello Lance,

While FusionPro VDP solutions are backwards compatible (5.8 composes 5.1 templates), it is not forward compatible (5.8 composing 6.0 templates). We therefore recommend that you upgrade your FusionPro Direct installation to 6.0 if you are looking to use Desktop 6.0.

Pricing of the upgrade varies depending on the details of your original FusionPro Direct purchase. Please contact our sales team at sales@printable.com and they will be able to provide this pricing to you.
