rpaterick Posted March 9, 2010 Share Posted March 9, 2010 Usually the barcode is requested by your customer. Barcode for data tracking, price reduction at a register, etc..... I would think that end result(customer-side or internally) needs to be looked at to determine what Barcode you would need to go with? What is it you are looking at doing exactly? vdfon Posted March 9, 2010 Author Share Posted March 9, 2010 @rpaterick - thanks! we're looking to do a mass mailer to leads & contacts - about 500 - 1000 for now. what type of situation would i need a barcode for a mass mailer to leads or contacts? is it something that helps the post office sort & ship? rpaterick Posted March 9, 2010 Share Posted March 9, 2010 I would contact BulkMailer from Satori to discuss setting-up for Direct Mail and being in-compliance with the Post Office. Pieces being barcoded for the PO, whether it's the trays or pieces themselves, you are taking out the work of the PO and get discounted rates(presorted mail).
