CreativeCharacter
I am currently trying to load a new font into FusionPro. I am on a Windows 7 PC running Fusion Pro VDP Creator 8.2.7. Previously we had the font "USPS4CB" installed and running in FusionPro, but recently I tried loading a new font into FusionPro and it removed all of the non-default fonts. I only need the "USPS4CB" font installed, but every time I try to load all fonts or load new fonts Acrobat crashes. Is there a way to load only one font into FusionPro? We currently have over 3,000 fonts and I'm not sure if that could be causing the crash. I've tried reinstalling and disabling UAC, but neither worked. I've also ran the System FIle Checker and had no integrity violations. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm working on a time sensitive project and need this fixed asap. Thank you! ThomasLewis
You can try configuring your fonts outside Acrobat by running the program here: C:\Program Files (x86)\PTI\FusionPro\configure.exe
CreativeCharacter
I was able to fix the problem by adding just one font to the file. I thought I'd post in case anyone runs into this same problem like I did. First I copied the font file into the "Fonts" folder located in "C:\Users\Public\PublicDocuments\PTI\FusionPro" It only worked when I added both the .BFK font file and .TTF font file. Then, I opened the "fonts.ini" file in Notepad, and added the following line to the end of the document: USPS4CB;USPS4CB;Regular;0;0;W;;True Type;C:\Users\Public\Documents\PTI\FusionPro\Fonts\USPS4CB.bfk;C:\Users\Public\Documents\PTI\FusionPro\Fonts\USPS4CB.ttf;; This added the USPS4CB font to FusionPro.
